And the winner is……

HCR, the halls of residence provider has announced the winner of its student accommodation prize draw.

Hidetake Akiba from Yachiyo City, Japan, currently studying for an MBA at Birmingham University was chosen as the lucky winner, resulting in winning around £1,400 worth of Student accommodation.

Alexandra House residents who signed up for the new term before 31st August were automatically entered into the free draw. When told about his mammoth win, an excited and overwhelmed Hidetake could only manage to mutter 'Thank you very much'.

HCR Marketing Executive Simon Hood commented “HCR always aims to provide student accommodation that offers great value for money especially during a time of increasing university fees and tighter purse strings. Therefore we wanted to hold a competition that would really benefit the winner, instead of a fancy MP3 player, we believed 12 weeks worth of accommodation would be much more appreciated.”

Alexandra House is an established student halls building near to the main Universities in Birmingham. The facilities include kitchens and bathrooms on each wing and floor, generously proportioned rooms, a large common room, off street parking and substantial gardens.
